You've likely heard the saying, "you get what you pay for." In physical therapy, this often translates to the common experience of high-volume clinics. After your initial visit, you might be handed an exercise card, spending most of your session working independently with minimal direct time—perhaps 5-10 minutes tops—with a PT, assistant, or even a student.
At Rise Physical Therapy, your experience is entirely different. You work exclusively with me, Dr. Kelly, for the duration of your visit, whether that's a full hour or a shorter, targeted session. My goal isn't to keep you coming back for months; it's to empower you to get better, faster, and with fewer overall visits.
In most cases yes, you can get reimbursed for out of network services if you have this as part of your benefits. You will need to contact your insurance company rep to find out. If you have a HSA Card (Health Savings Account), I accept those as well. The amount you get reimbursed makes my fees often just like a copay, except the service you get is MUCH better than your typical clinic that takes insurance.
My philosophy is simple: your physical therapy journey is about you and your life. I'll listen intently to what's bothering you, but even more so to what you aspire to do again. It truly bothers me when I hear about runners being told running is 'bad' or that you can never squat again. That's simply not how we work here. We'll find the sweet spot between temporarily easing your system and consistently building you back up. My goal is to equip you with a personalized, straightforward Recovery Plan that empowers you to keep doing the activities you love with the people who matter most to you, no matter how long you've been dealing with pain.
