Meet the Team
Hi, I'm Kelly, Rise Physical Therapy founder and owner. I specialize in the treatment of dysautonomia, hypermobility disorders, and other neurological conditions. I understand the nuances needed to treat these conditions because I developed POTS after having had COVID-19. I created a care plan that improved my quality of life and now use this care plan to treat others with post-COVID dysautonomia.
I also treat orthopedic conditions like back, neck, and hip pain, plus strains, sprains, and sports injuries. Other orthopedic issues I treat include temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, sciatica, and headaches.
I completed undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Exercise Science at the University of Georgia. I then earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University School of Medicine. Since graduating, I continues to seek out effective and innovative treatment approaches.
Get focused, one-on-one care at every visit. No rotating therapists. No shared sessions. No preset exercises. Every session is tailored to you in real time, so your care is personal and purposeful.
Hola! My name is Jesse Cendejas, your Exercise Physiologist. I focus on helping individuals transition from physical therapy into independent exercise. I also design exercise and wellness programs to help clients manage chronic diseases, recover after an illness, and improve physical function.
As a former marching arts performer, I experienced the physical demands of performance and the challenge of not knowing how to properly train, recover, and care for my body. Now armed with four years of experience in personal training, I help others learn how to care for their bodies with the guidance I wish I had received as a performer.
Schedule with me to assess how your body moves, identify limitations, and develop a personalized program to help you move and function better. Through exercise, mobility work, Pilates-based techniques, and specialized tools, we’ll address your needs while building the strength and skills to support your long-term health.
Recovery doesn't stop when physical therapy ends. Through personalized exercise and movement training, we'll help you maintain your progress and build the strength and habits to stay active.
Michelle McKenzie, LMT
I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist with more than 30 years of experience helping clients reduce pain, restore mobility, and improve quality of life. I offer personalized treatment sessions based on each client’s needs, combining clinical techniques, intuitive assessment, and compassionate care.
My training includes myofascial stretch therapy, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage, and hot stone massage, plus ongoing education in manual lymphatic drainage to support clients with swelling, inflammation, and lymphatic conditions.
Whether you are managing pain, muscle tension, limited mobility, pregnancy-related discomfort, or simply need time to restore and recharge, I’m here to help you move better, feel better, and support your well-being. I am guided by my faith in Christ and I consider it a privilege to care for my clients with compassion, integrity, and respect.
Massage therapy is more than a way to relax. It can compliment your rehabilitation, exercise, and wellness goals, too. A good massage can reduce tension, improve mobility, and support recovery to keep your body moving at its best.
