I’m a North Fulton-based physical therapist specializing in treatment of dysautonomia, hypermobility disorders, and other neurological conditions. I also treat orthopedic conditions like back, neck, and hip pain, plus strains, sprains, and sports injuries. Other orthopedic issues I treat include temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, sciatica, and headaches.
I completed undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Exercise Science at the University of Georgia. I then earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University School of Medicine. Since graduating, I continue to seek out effective and innovative treatment approaches.
About Rise Physical Therapy
My practice integrates several highly specialized certifications:
· Trigger Point Dry Needling for targeted pain relief
· Gyrotonic® certification for dynamic strength and flexibility
· Low Pressure Fitness Level One for core and postural health
· Redcord Neurac certification for suspension-based neuromuscular re-education
With these and other tools in my toolkit, I customize treatment plans for each of my patients.
I also provide specialized care for challenging condition like Long COVID-19 and dysautonomia, including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I understand the nuances needed to treat these conditions because I developed POTS after having had COVID-19. I created a care plan that improved my quality of life. I now use this care plan to treat others with post-COVID dysautonomia.
My approach to physical therapy is modern, hands-on, and empowering. You won’t just recover, you’ll thrive.
